We Offer Expert Veterinary Services!

Annual Physical Exams and Vaccinations: Our primary goal is a long and healthy life for your beloved pets.  We recommend annual physical exams to ensure that your pet receives the finest in preventative medical care.  However, if problems do arise, regular examinations enable our staff to address and treat the medical concerns as early as possible.  Vaccinations are another essential part of your pet's preventative health care.  We can create a vaccine protocol to best serve your pet’s lifestyle and risk of exposure of diseases.

Surgery:  We offer routine surgeries such as spays and neuters as well as general soft tissue procedures, wound repairs, Cesarean sections, and selected orthopedic procedures.  We provide our patients with the safest anesthesia and monitoring during surgery.  Each surgical patient receives a protocol to ensure their individual safety before, during and after surgery.

Surgery - Contact us in West Fork, Arkansas, for animal health care, veterinary services, animal boarding, and neutering services.

Dentistry:  Maintaining your pet’s dental health is an important part of ensuring a long healthy life for your canine and feline companions.  Advanced periodontal disease in dogs and cats can result in pain, loss of teeth, kidney disease, and even heart disease.  Our objective is to prevent these problems with regular dental cleanings performed here in our clinic.  Our dentistry’s include a thorough mouth exam, an ultra-sonic teeth scaling, extractions (if necessary), and polishing.  We have Oravet available, a sealant that will help to ensure long lasting plague protection.  The Oravet is continued with at-home applications.  Aside from our complete in-house treatment, we also offer various dental hygiene options for pet owners to care for their pets at home. See products for other dental items.

Cat - Contact us in West Fork, Arkansas, for animal health care, veterinary services, animal boarding, and neutering services.

Senior Pet Care:  Because dogs and cats age so quickly, we offer a variety of ways to monitor and ensure your pet’s health as they age. We highly recommend a senior wellness exam for any pet over the age of 7.  This senior exam includes a full examination, blood work to check for liver and kidney disease, thyroid disease, signs of diabetes and many more.  We have ECG’s available to evaluate the function of the heart. X-rays can be done to assess the lung fields and other internal organs. It is very important to bring your senior pet for examinations, just as it is important for us, as we age to visit our doctor.

Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities allow our staff to test our patients' blood serum chemistry, electrolyte levels, and hematology.  We are also equipped to perform urinalysis, parasite testing, and other various tests to diagnose a number of diseases including Parvovirus, Giardia, Heartworm, Lyme, Erlichia, FeLV, and FIV.   We can usually have results for many tests in less than an hour for critically ill or injured pets.  For more in-depth and specialized diagnostic testing, we also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories that can often have results to us in less than 24 hours.

Radiology: X-rays are used to not only evaluate bones and joints, but also provide extremely useful information about your pet's internal organs, the heart, and lungs.  Our on-site X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders that may not be visibly apparent from a physical examination.

Grooming Services:  Along with our expert medical care and treatment, we offer a full-line of grooming services for your cats and dogs.  Our standard grooming services include a bath with shampoo & conditioner, fluff drying, complete body trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, nail clipping & filing, and styled grooming.  For additional information or to make an appointment, please feel free to call and speak with one of our friendly staff members.

Boarding:  We have a new boarding facility with indoor climate-controlled kennels for your dogs, and kitty condo’s with a hiding hole for your cats.  We take dogs out for walks two to three times a day and allow them plenty of time to play in our fenced in play area. We  provide high quality pet food, if you've forgotten theirs and high quality care.

Pharmacy: We maintain an extensive inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, heartworm preventatives, and flea products to address the needs and sustain the health of your pets.

Comprehensive Flea, Tick, and Parasite Control Programs:  Flea control in NW Arkansas is a yearlong issue.  We offer flea control programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own household environment.  Our staff can advise you on the most effective ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard, and on your pet.  Ticks are a real problem during the warmer months and can carry several nasty diseases that affect dogs and cats.  We recommend monthly prevention to help protect your pet.  We maintain an extensive inventory of flea control products including Advantage, Advantage Multi, Advantix, Comfortis, Frontline Plus, and Capstar.  We also offer a full line of deworming medications to specifically target the parasites that may infect your cats and dogs.

Large Animal Services:  We work with many species of farm animals, such as: horses, goats, cattle, pigs, and sheep.  We have stocks in the clinic for working with horses, and we also do farm calls for herd work.  We are in a big area for goats and work with many herds, assisting with parasite control, kidding, vaccinations, etc.

Horse - Contact us in West Fork, Arkansas, for animal health care, veterinary services, animal boarding, and neutering services.

Microchip Identification:  We offer microchip placement services.  With this service, a tiny microchip containing a code linked to the owner’s name, address and phone number is implanted under your pet’s skin.  Most animal shelters, humane societies, and veterinary hospitals have a microchip scanner that will detect a pet’s microchip so owners can be contacted and reunited with their pets if they are separated for any reason.  We routinely scan any found pets for microchips.

Prescription Diets:  We carry a variety of specialized prescription diets to aid in the care of your pet’s special dietary needs.  Some of the diets we offer are helpful in the treatment of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, liver and kidney disorders, as well as weight management.

Mobile Services:  We make house/farm calls for your convenience, we can come out and do your yearly vaccinations and pet care as needed.  Call us when you need us and we will try to make your life a little easier!

West Fork Shelter: We are the West Fork Shelter, for the city limits of West Fork.  We are unable to take any animals from outside the city limits.  When your animal gets lost, please call us first.  Your name will go in a lost and found folder for our clients to see to expand the reach of our shelter.  Your pet will remain here for 10 days, either looking for you, or a new home.
